Hi, I'm Kevin Hongtongsak.
I'm currently working in the San Francisco Bay Area as a software engineer at Google. I previously worked at Yubico. This website aims to carve a small piece of the Internet where I can share my thoughts using text as the medium of choice. Any thoughts or views expressed on this website are my own, and are not reflective of my employer at all.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and owe much of my enjoyment for food due to the vibrant cuisine I ate while growing up. I was enrolled at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Engineering Studies. To be specific, I studied English and Computer Science there.
For professional software engineering work, I currently work with C++, and have prior experience using Golang and JavaScript. I have a particular interest in using these languages to build complex software systems that are scalable, reliable, and most importantly, maintainable by the humans who work on them.
